CSAG are leading the development of downscaled climate projections for Cape Coast, Ghana and Bo City, Sierra Leone. This data will be used to inform the development of a Risk and Vulnerability Assessment for each city. The project will improve the understanding of current and future projected climate change risks associated with temperature and rainfall in Cape Coast, Ghana, and Bo City, Sierra Leone and will develop capacity amongst policy and decision-makers to apply climate knowledge in developing local, national and regional policy and decision-making processes to increase climate resilience.
