Climate Services

Climate services is variously defined. Within CSAG, climate services refers to activities directly engaged with supporting societal responses to climate where those response may range from policy development through to planning, engineering design, and adaptation.

CSAG is engaged in a number of different climate services type activities including capacity building, online platforms, and bespoke climate information generation for specific projects or activities.  Additionally, CSAG is actively involved in climate services research, ie. the improved understanding of the role, effectiveness, and suitability of different approaches to integrating climate information into society.
