CSAG is looking for new interns for 2017. We are looking for a self-motivated candidate who will work with key research staff within existing projects and towards proposals and new contract work within the unit. This opportunity is for those looking to develop their skill sets, gain hands on experience in a research unit and to define a career path.

Candidates should be interested in one or more of the following themes;

•Climate modelling
•Atmospheric processes
•Communicating climate information
•Data dissemination
•Stakeholder/user engagement

Please write a motivation to explain why you would like to do an internship with CSAG, and what your expectations are from such an internship?

A part of the internship is to create and complete a small research project of your interest.  Based on your current skill set and your learning ambitions for this internship, outline what you envision this project to be about (topic linked to one or several of the five themes above and a short description) and what steps would you take to ensure completion of a final product.

Provide an example(s) where you have made something happen on your own initiative (e.g. initiative to address a wider challenge at your school/university/workplace or initiative to address a personal challenge in your school/university/workplace).
