Introduction to CSAG Climate Information Tools

This is a short 1-day event hosted by CSAG that will take place on Tuesday 19th March 2013. A maximum of 25 participants will be invited to attend.

Topics covered:

Introduction to the new CSAG Climate Information Portal
Extraction and robust interpretation of climate information
Training using a suite of CSAG e-learning resources – including modules on climate data, climate science, uncertainty and multiple lines of evidence
Feedback from participants on utility of CSAG’s tools for decision making

Date: 19 March 2013, 9am – 4pm

Location: Environmental and Geographical Science Building, University of Cape Town

Cost: Course is free and will include lunch, but participants are expected to sign a firm commitment to attend.
