WCRP My Climate Risk

CSAG is a regional hub within the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) lighthouse activity My Climate Risk (MCR).

The World Climate Research Programme hosts a number of Lighthouse Activities, one of which is called My Climate Risk. WCRP’s My Climate Risk Lighthouse Activity aims to develop and mainstream a ‘bottom-up’ approach to regional climate risk starting with the decisions that need to be made. The aim is to develop a new framework for assessing and explaining regional climate risk that will make climate information more meaningful at the local scale. This aligns significantly with CSAGs approach to climate risk with the following projects acting as important exemplars of the approach
