Zimbabwe vulnerability assessment

CSAG collaborated with ICLEI Africa and Chinhoyi University of Technology to undertake a status quo assessment of climate vulnerabilities across national and sub-national sectors in Zimbabwe to inform: i) national climate change adaptation programmes; ii) strategic planning for implementation; and iii) the National Determined Contribution (NDC) revision and raising ambition. To this end, CSAG performed a comprehensive literature review, contributed to the development of an interview protocol framework, analysed the outputs of semi-structured interviews and contributed to final reporting and feedback to the Zimbabwe Climate Change Management Department. CSAG also contributed to mapping resulting case studies on to the weAdapt platform.
