This project focused on two priorities; the integration of information sources in a heterogeneous and globally distributed context, and the tailoring of data into relevant information products communicated in a framework that facilitates stakeholder flexible exploration for sector specific knowledge needs.

The first focus was addressed by evolving data and portal tools, enhancing integration between the satellite observational holdings at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and the surface historical, downscaled, and climate model projection data at CSAG.

The second focus was on the linkages in the chain of information down to stakeholder policy, adaptation, and decision contexts. CSAG contributed enhancements to the development of tailored products for stakeholders, and the UK Climate Impacts Programme (UKCIP) led the partnership with CSAG in engaging with stakeholders.

Time frames: 1 year project, from March 2012 to March 2013

Funder: Climate & Development Knowledge Network (CDKN)

Partners: UK Climate Impacts Programme (UKCIP) and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL)
