In this piece of work CSAG undertook a general review of climate information sources and their usefulness to the stakeholders across the province. The report included; a review of available sources of climate information, pros and cons of the various sources, the most relevant application of these sources to different decision contexts and shortfalls and disclaimers associated with the various sources.

Through analysis, CSAG performed; a quantitative analysis of climate trends and descriptive climate histories for each climate region, an analysis of historical climatic events within each region, an analysis of climate variability for each climate region and provided climate change projections for the mid and end century.
