Leading up to COP26, CSAG led a proof-of-concept consultative process on Climate Risk Assessments in Least Developed Countries (LDCs). This pilot consultative process was designed to:

  • Identify critical knowledge needs for action to ensure that funding is targeted
  • Support a community of relevant stakeholders from science, policy and practice who are likely to use the knowledge generated to take action
  • Lay the groundwork for attracting funder interest and structuring action research programmes

The project consisted of a series of consultations with experts, users and funders within the Climate Risk Assessment community and resulted in a Chairs report to the Adaptation Research Alliance for release at COP26.

Time frame: 2021
