Tanya Dayaram

Research Staff

Tanya is a researcher at CSAG who is working with a diverse and transdisciplinary team to develop knowledge, contribute toward co-production for learning, and mentor others in-and-around the subjects of urban planning and governance, climate change and public health risks in African cities. Tanya completed a PhD in the built environment in 2021 titled, “The role of business support interventions in promoting spatial justice: a case study of informal economic development in a residential zone, eThekwini (Ward 68).” Other degrees include a Masters in Town and Regional Planning and a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences focusing on human settlements.
